When a heartless manufacturing CEO decides to completely automate his factory, he decides to ignore the pleas of those around him to not follow through with his plans. As a result, his board of directors decide to force Mr. Whipple to take an early retirement and replace him with a robot. As a result, he goes down to a nearby bar to lament his reversal of fortune, only to find the foreman he laid off drinking away the same sorrows.
